I tried a new pinterest recipe! I know its been a bit but work has gotten super busy and I just forget to write! But here I am!
For Christmas dinner, I was talking with a friend and we were thinking of doing an Asian inspired dinner. It ended up being a hodge podge of food but it was all delicious. Anyway, I ended up making baked Crab Rangoon with my own little twist.
So, here is the link for the original recipe.
However, grocery shopping on Christmas day tends to mean that you do not have a lot of options. So, I had to make a few adjustments.
I took the imitation crab meat, and chopped it up.
Then instead of getting cream cheese and an onion, I just used chive/onion cream cheese.
It worked out great!
Mixed it all together and sprinkled it with a little garlic salt.
I left out the worcestershire sauce because I didn’t have any and forgot to get some at the store.
So, I forgot to take pictures the first time I made them but they were so delicious that I made them again and made them much prettier!
However, there is another little twist in how I made them. I used crescent rolls instead of wonton wrappers because I seriously could not find them on Christmas day! They turned out amazing!
Here they are, all nice and baked! How delicious do they look?!?!
I highly recommend making them! They turned out great!
Enjoy!
How on earth did you get a cute little bundle out of a triangle? How long did you cook them? They are super cute and look delicious!
I rolled it out in triangles and smooshed the crimps together and cut it in squares. I cooked them for about 8 minutes.
